A Short Review on Multifunctional Roles of Bacteriocins

Abstract

Rising demand for healthy food products creates space for more innovative food preservation methods one such method includes the use of bacteriocin. However, potential role of bacteriocins against different harmful pathogens is under study from the industrial perspective and gain progress in understanding them and their mechanism of action against harmful pathogens. This short review provides information on purification and multidimensional roles of bacteriocins.
